About This Trail
The trip begins at NM485. It's a phrase that means "Turn onto FR652." The road's first few miles are rocky and rutted, but by the time you get to FR534, the road is more maintained. You need to follow FR534 to FR20. We took a side trip up Redtop Peak, which used to be a forest service lookout, but is now an old out house. Pick up FR20 and go on to NM 126. You can either go to Cuba or La Cueva from there.
