The forest is about 45 minutes from Albany. Most of the trails are gravel or dirt. They are used by skiers in the winter. Mountain biking is popular here. There is a map at the trail. There are other parking areas and hiking trails in this area. Some of the trails are not marked. Visitors can loop around the area's ponds, including Wood Duck Pond, White Birch Pond, and Tubbs Pond. There is a waterfall near the road. A path leads to the "No Camping" sign. The Long Path is marked with aqua paint.
