Oregon Dunes NRA

This route isn't really a trail but a trek across some of the most impressive dunes in the west. The choice of routes is yours, but be sure not to lose your place as the dunes can be very confusing. You should watch out for dirt bikes and quads when you go across the inspiration for Frank Herbert's novels. There is a thin strip of trees separated from the coast. The dirt bike trails lead to the beach. The rip tide on the coast can be dangerous so be careful.
