About This Trail
The hike is on a gravel road going through a forest of cedar trees. You can follow the trail and see a little historic town of Jawbone Flats, as well as the high bridge that leads to the opal pool. An old mining operation is being explored by taking a walk along an old road. There are trails that follow the main trail that leads to swimming holes. You can see some of these falls along the way. Do not expect the whole place to be for yourself on this trail. The site has led to the regulating of camping and parking.
