Morgan Hill State Forest covers 5,300 acres of land in the towns of Fabius, Truxton and Cuyler in the northeastern portion of Cortland County. Morgan Hill State Forest is a popular area due to its excellent hunting opportunities, scenic beauty, and easy accessibility. Morgan Hill State Forest Multiple Use Trail System has many different opportunities for family-based recreation. The western part of the forest has marked foot trails that connect to the eastern part of the Finger Lakes Trail System.
