Odessa Meteor Crater Trail

A very interesting area is located close to a 50,000 year old meteorite crater. You can check out information packets in the museum. The trail signs give scientists a glimpse into the discoveries they've made. As a result of the drill the 165-foot deep shaft looks for meteorites. In numerous areas you can find a covered picnic bench. If you pass through, this is a nice hike and a nice area for a break.
