Oak Island Nature Trail

The area is closed during the month of October and the month of April. The Wildlife area is closed throughout this time. For more information, please contact the Sauvie Island Wildlife Area. The entire family will love the hike down the wooded road through the middle of Sauvie Island. In late July, August and early September there are lots of blackberries on the short loop hike. It is possible to get stained when you wear old clothing. The hike doesn't have a ton of amazing views of water, but it is a good hike. Keep an eye on the birds.
