About This Trail

Imported description
This trail leads to the Westkill Wilderness. You can climb two of the 35 catskill peaks that are higher than 3000 feet. The Bushwhack begins on the devil's path. Take the bearing directly to the North Dome. It's a steep climb and slippery. You have to be careful due to the steep ledges. On top of the summit, take another bearing to Sherill. The hiking to Sherill is not that difficult. Take a final bearing down to the Westkill once you are on top of Sherill. It is recommended to use caution when crossing Westkill.
