New Hope Overlook Blue Route

The trail starts at the boat ramp. The blue loop is 2.6 miles long while the red loop is just over five miles. This is the hardest trail with steep hills. New Hope Trail is our most strenuous hike. The trail goes by the bathroom at the boat ramp. The red and blue loops are both just over five miles. The blue loop is included in the red loop. This trail is very difficult with several steep hills. Hikers will get a variety of views of the lake, hardwood forests, groves of mountain laurels, and many other flora and fauna.
