About This Trail
The scenic tour encircles the NWR. The herds of bison and elk are managed by the NWR. They usually have 70-90 animals. From the trails and visitor center you can see them from the auto tour route. It is required that visitors take the auto tour inside the bison/elk enclosure. The bison and the elk are wild animals.
