Naches Peak Ski Tour

The ski touring area of the Chinook Pass is great for the spring and summer. It is possible to get to the area early in the winter, but limited snow coverage can make it hard to find a route. There are several tours but the longest runs are on the southeast side of the highway. There are some short runs to the north and south of the Pass. It is possible to ski a traverse to the Northeast. It is only possible to traverse during the late spring or summer when the snow is fully consolidated.
