Mulkey Creek Trail

The trail top of the hill overlooks the valley. The first 1.3 miles of the trail are on a flat gravel path or road, the second half is in the old growth forest, following a well maintained single wide trail. The elevation goes up as you get to the top. Stay to the left as you enter the trail. If you cross the Mulkey Creek trail bridge as you start your hike, you'll know you are on the right trail. There are several places to rest and see the view of the valley, at least two of which are on the way. The trail at the top seems to keep going, but in reality it loops back to the trail.
