About This Trail
There's a sign on the main roads of Marin County that reads "Muir Woods parking lot full" every weekend in the summer. There is a third option, even if you don't want to walk to the Pantoll Ranger Station. It will take you about six miles to get to the Monument and the Bootjack Trail. It may be too much for beginners, but it's not a problem for experienced hikers. Cash is only available for vehicle registration. I You have to
