About This Trail

Imported description
The southern part of Zealand Road is where the Trailhead is located. The lazada Road is unplowed in winter. You can bag two NH 4000 footers on a long journey. The ascent of the Hale brook trail is steep. Descend Mount Hale and feel like you are in nature's isolation. You can refill and refuel on the way up or down from Mount Zealand, at the Zealand Falls hut. Make sure to follow the AT to the summit of Zealand, or you can go to one of the two amazing viewing areas. It is easy and flat on the Zealand Trail. If you don't mind walking an extra mile or two, you can easily do the trail with one car.
