About This Trail
The introduction to the Black Diamond Mines Regional Pres serve was nice. The preserve has coal mines, a historic cemetery and Bay Views. The Black Diamond Trail can be reached by taking the Canyon trail. The preserve contains 3 historic coal mining sites, a historic cemetery and 50 scenic trails. It is possible to see the San Francisco Bay Area from very hilly terrain. Dogs are allowed on leash in developed areas and under voice command in the park.
