The trail begins on the Midstate trail. There are no more markers after you leave this trail. Some of the trails have signs. If you are going to follow this trail, bring a navigation device. There are some wet areas in the early spring hike, but nothing that is difficult to get around. Some small stream crossing are very easy to navigate. There is a section of the midstate trail that is difficult to get through after a lot of rain.
