About This Trail

This is a multi-use trail that is open to hiking. The upper Garden Canyon Picnic Area is off of Garden Canyon Road. The turn-off is a road made of stones. You can continue up this road in a vehicle with some ground clearance. The sign for McClure Canyon is nailed to a tree on the left side of the trail. The trail is only this road when you first start, but it gets more interesting the further you go. Once you get over 6000 feet, the flora will start to change from Arizona-esque to more piney growth. You can scramble up the water-way that is almost like a waterfall after heavy rain.
