About This Trail
It's said that Little Rock City is a natural outcrop of conglomerate rock. There is a turn around loop that goes from the end of Little Rock City Forest Road to where the loop ends. The trail has a disc that marks it. Cattaraugus County has three rock cities. In Allegany State Park, Rock City and a third are also located. A "rock city" is a rock formation that may look like a city road to some people. This loop trail winds along the rocks and gets you to the junction with the North Country National scenic trail. Turn right to go back to the loop when you arrive at Little Rock City Road.
