About This Trail
The trail follows old logging roads through open woods and crosses three picturesque streams. The trail splits from the parking area. The trail on the right goes to East Pond and can be used to reach the Kancamagus Highway. The trail goes to Little East Pond. The trail to Little East Pond has two stream crossing that require rock hopping and a "ditch" where part of a log stairway has washed out. The trail to East Pond is more attractive and can be used by anyone with mobility limitations. Both trails could not be considered wheelchair accessible. The full loop goes to East Pond, then from East Pond to Little East Pond, and back to the parking area. You can either go in the opposite direction or go in the same direction.
