About This Trail
The Cedar Springs Trail goes through oaken wild lands into a desert up to the Pacific Crest Trail. The views along this section of the project are amazing. The entire Santa Rosa range can be seen to the south, the San Jacinto Wilderness to the north and the east, and Thomas Mountain to the west. It is a great high country for a hike. The trail is graded very lightly. The trail is as good as they come, so wear good boots, but it is a bit rocky. It is possible to combine this trail with the trip to Pine Mountain and Pyramid Peak, but be aware that the distance comes out to around 12 miles.
