About This Trail

Imported description
The routes are on the west side of Troy NC. There is a lot of cars. The hiking trails and dedicating biking holes are within the same location. The Uwharrie National Forest Ranger office888-607-3166 is888-607-888-607-888-607-3166 can be888-607-888-607-3166 can be888-607-3166 is located a few miles east ofTroy on Highway 24/27. These trails are more "wild" on US Forest Service land than the NC State Park trails. If you can't find one that you'd like, camping is allowed all along the loop. There are not many views of the mountaintops but you can sometimes see the forest in the winter. Similar to NC state parks, where you must stay on the trails, this area allows people to wander through the forest. The trails are well-lit for the most part.
