About This Trail

The Lake Zwerner Trail is a loop around the lake. The Lake Zwerner Trail is a good challenge for the casual hiker. There are some areas where the trail gets steep. There are several benches, a couple of picnic areas, and two swings to break up the hike. The trail is next to hWY 19. The trail north of the parking area is gravel. The majority of the trail is covered in dirt. There are several streams in the lake. The lake is popular for fishing. The UNG uses the lake to train their sculling team.
