About This Trail
This trail is only open during certain times of year. When the restoration of lake apopka began, farm labor started using a paved trail as a gravel road. The dirt road that leads to the pump house that was meant to take out the north part of the land went north for 4 miles. The intersection leads you to either take a second 6.9 mile road to northwest or 2.1 miles south to Clay Island. Roughly the trek out and back is nearly 40 years old.
