About This Trail
The canal was dug years ago for logging and drainage. It is mostly not developed. The Kitty Hawk Preserve is leading through it. There can be plenty of wildlife. The canal opens into Jean Guite Creek at the US158 bridge. You can explore the canals of the Kitty Hawk Landing housing development to the west and the canals along the northern shore of Kitty Hawk Bay from here.
