John Holder Trail

There are trails that are currently closed for regrowth. The John Holder trail begins at Hall's Restaurant. The trail goes straight down to an old ford across Howard's Creek. It's a great day hike. The trail goes down an old ford across Howard's Creek. It goes up along a ridgeline past the foundations of old ice houses to the homestead. Colonel John HOLDER's grave is one of the three cemeteries on the homestead.
