About This Trail

Imported description
You can go on the Dix Range Hike if you get 5000 ft of elevation gain. This is a strenuous one day or multi day hike over mostly unmaintained and unknown trails. This is a difficult hike that will take you up the Beckhorn slide and then you can return to the lake via the Hunters Pass trail. The elevation gain is 5000'. If you are in good shape, you can hike in one day or over a few days. These trails are difficult to follow and will have scrambles along the way. It is said that most are not maintained and not marked, so you will need to follow herd paths and know how to use them. Cell service is very limited in the wilderness.
