About This Trail
The nature trail leads to the old depot with native plant displays. Cottonwood Pony Express Station is the most intact Pony Express Station in the United States. In 1858, it was built by Gerat H Hollenberg, and used by the Pony Express when it first started. This is open only during limited times.
