Heron Creek LCFP Trail

The preserve has a rolling landscape of scenic woods and open fields. The Indian Creek basin is located at the site. You can hike, bike, and ski on 2.3 miles of gravel trails. There are valuable natural resources and wetlands in a country setting. There are more than 116 species of birds here. The six state threatened bird species are black tern, black-crowned night heron, osprey, yellow-crowned night heron, brown creeper, and pied-billed grebe.
