About This Trail
The trail starts on logging company land but ends on national forest lands. There are no signs for property owners along this trail. The Siskiyou Wanderers have used this route for decades. It crosses the National Forest Land using logging roads. It has different views of Grass Lake and Mount Shasta as you climb. There is a great view of Mt. from the lookout structure at the summit. The Trinity Divide includes Mt. Eddy, the Salmon Mountains, the Siskiyou Mountains, Mt. Ashland, and the nearby Goosenest and Grass Lake.
