About This Trail
A special boat ride across Fontana lake is required to get to the trailhead. You can call Fontana Marina to make reservations if you want to hike 10 miles from Fontana Dam. All of the campsites need a reservation. It is possible to be dangerous in high water when crossing the Bone Valley Creek.
