Hayswood Nature Reserve Trail

This hike is basically two hikes in one. There is a road that leads through a wooded area. It's good for almost everyone. The restrooms and spur trail are at the farthest end of the loop trail. It's not easy to find the trail to the top at times. There is more spur trails in the right direction that lead to steep cliffs. It is possible to level off to a flat top while continuing up the hill. There is a series of 10 foot mounds that are fun to investigate. A view of the city of Corydon can be seen from the top. Take the walk back to the paved trail and follow it to the parking area.
