About This Trail

Imported description

Hikers will need to detour onto the road if there is a downed tree on the path. The trail is more like a washed out jeep trail than a foot path. A good view of fall foliage can be seen from the uphill hike to the landing. The trail takes a left hand turn and gets suddenly steep. The old fire tower is at the top. The fire tower is in a bad state of disrepair and is dangerous to climb. The foliage is quite nice, but there is not much to see. The only views from the top are by means of the tower. This is a great place to take the dog for a walk or for a bike ride with a fast downhill run.
