About This Trail
The shortest route to a lean-to in all the Adirondacks is via Mill brook Road. The Bear Creek parking area is close to the lake but you can continue down the road to a parking area closer to the lake. There is a lake waiting as a reward and a lean to not more than 25 feet away from the shore, which is not to be missed. Canoes and paddles are available at the shore that one can use for further adventures. The Chub Pond trail is one of the trails that connect to Big Woodhull Lake. This is an outdoor enthusiast's dream.
