About This Trail
The 5.6 miles of gravel and mowed grass trails are some of the best access to the Fox River. There are a variety of natural habitats here. The scenic overlooks offer magnificent views of the Fox River Valley and Grassy Lake. The preserve's two northern sections are separated by a trail tunnel and a road crossing with a flashing beacon. There are trail connections to adjacent neighborhoods. The trails are only open for hiking and cross-country skiing. It's not allowed to bike. Keep dogs leashed and pick up after them.
