About This Trail
Take 70W to upper bear creek. Go right until you reach the fork. The road goes past a state wildlife area. The quote said after entering Mt. You have to hike the road to get to the wilderness area from the parking lot. Take a left at approximately 1.5 miles. You have gone the wrong way if you see llamas. You will see a nice meadow and lots of aspens after an uphill start to the trail. The start of the trail has been quite close. It has been unused for years and has regrown. It's easy to walk past the trail because there is no one to identify it. The trail ends at private property, so turn around and go the other way. This trail is located in a state wilderness area. The public access is open from January 1 to June 14. The property is only used for fishing and hunting from the day after labor day through the end of the rifle season.
