About This Trail
Pets are not allowed and Bikes are not allowed. There is an entrance fee for the park. It's easy for most wheelchairs to ride the Fountain Valley Trail in good weather. The trail isn't paved. There is a 2.3 mile trail that goes through the Fountain and Lyons rock formations. The self-guided hike will take you through some of the most magnificent land. The trail traverses several habitats for plants and animals. The golden eagle is capable of chasing small mammals, snakes or birds. Persse's buildings were built at the turn of the century. As a summer home Persse used the land for a resort. It takes one to two hours to hike.
