About This Trail
It is the second largest cemetery in Maine. The cemetery has a park area with four ponds and a network of trails. The west part of the cemetery is wilder and more wooded. The trails are mostly level but have been left natural with exposed tree roots. It is known for its exceptional birdwatching, from feeding the ducks in the ponds to experiencing the spring migration of a wide variety of songbirds. The north west end of the cemetery is an off leash area for dogs.
