East Moscow Mountain

The hike is on a road. One of the turn-offs is a picnic area with some old cedar trees and another leads to a secluded area with orange-red foliage in the fall. You're greeted by a great outcrop of granite when you reach the summit. It is fun to pose for pictures on the friendly old rocks. If you can, you should go to that meadow in the fall. There is a magnificent view of the Palouse from the rock outcrop further along the summit. Someone has hung a swing next to some trees. It's cool, but a little scary.
