About This Trail

It is a long, steep route up the south side of Kings Canyon. A shorter hike leads to a series of small waterfalls. It took one mile to reach the cascade and 6 miles to reach the summit meadow. From the grove, the trail goes to a meadow underneath Lookout Peak, which is a good place to view the canyon and the surrounding peaks. A 600 foot elevation gain is the target for the shorter hike.
