About This Trail
The Devil's Eyebrow natural area is made up of logging roads that have been converted to hiking trails. There is a spring which runs year-round, and the option to hike to the top of the mountain. The Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission has more information on the area. According to a story, in the late 19th century, a local resident asked if a railroad could be built right through the mountains. You can't do it, man. The railroad men thought his description was perfect. The name is still used in literature today.
