About This Trail
The eastern wall of the Cumberland Plateau has been carved by Soddy, Possum and Rock Creeks. The Three Gorges segment has a trail that goes through the three gorges. The land used to be owned by the Bowater Paper Company and used as pine tree farms. The farms were used in the mill in the state of Tennessee. The trail lands were purchased by a partnership of the CTC and the State of Tennessee after Bowater decided to sell them.
