Cross Hill Loop Trail

Cross Hill Trail is one of thirteen hiking trails that are connected by rolling hills and abundant wildlife. The cross hill trail has a view of historic Castroville, Texas. The cross on Mount Gentilz was a historic landmark built in the 1840s, and the cross is located near the trail head. The trail spans over 26 miles, rising over 100 feet and offering superb views of Castroville and the Medina Valley. The scenery offers a bench to rest on along the way. Visitors can often find deer and flowers along the trail.
