The path takes you high above the ocean. This trail goes up a road. It starts in the shade of the trees. The shade is gone after about one mile and the rest of the road is without shade. This gets very hot, so bring enough water. If you bring a dog, make sure it has enough water. The only negatives are that there is no place to rest or have a drink at the end of the hike.
