About This Trail
The only boat dock in the park is located on the shoreline near the road. The only lake shore access in the park is at the bottom of the trail near the boat dock. The steep trail takes from 1.5 to 2.5 hours and has an elevation gain of 700 ft. The trip up is strenuous with an 11% grade The boat dock has boat tours of the lake or to Wizard Island, and tickets can be purchased at the parking lot. One of the must do hikes in the forest.
