About This Trail
The baldcypress is the largest and oldest tree in Arkansas. The tree is 126 feet tall, 75.5 feet wide, and has a diameter of almost 14 feet. The trail is open from March 1st to December 15th, but closed the rest of the time due to flooding. The trail is closed to all vehicle traffic. It is important to put a lot of bug spray on. If you follow the ATV trail, you will reach the Lower White Lake, with other old growth trees. Please help us preserve the old trees by not throwing things in the trash.
