About This Trail
The natural environment at Buffumville Lake is almost 500 acres. Fishing, hunting, seven miles of multi-use trails, and group picnic shelters are some of the forms of recreation. The lake is popular for canoeing, kayaking, and primitive boat-in camping. The United States Army Corps of Engineers has a flood control lake project in Massachusetts. The public can go hiking, fishing, and hunting at the lake. A frisbee golf course is located near the lake. The unit of the flood control project is called Buffumville Lake.
