Buffalo Trace Prairie Loop

The Buffalo Trace Prairie area is a mix of prairie and woodland with a biking trail through the center. The dirt trails are mostly on the south side while the non-paved trails are mostly on the north side. There are four marked fitness circuits that use the trails at both the trailheads. The 5-mile circuit follows the outer trail all the way around with a cutoff on the southeast end. There is a lot of wildlife throughout the year. The trails are well maintained, but the southern wooded portion can get muddy in wet weather.
