About This Trail
The first mile of the hike is a mostly wide trail. It is a good idea to maintain your trail markers because there is an intersection that leads to several other summits. The descent through mile 2 becomes more difficult and has rocky sections. The views start to come as the canopy begins to fall, and the rocky scrambles begin. The younger hikers should be taken care of so that the scrambles don't require a hands on approach. The view from the summit is worth the hike. There were a lot of blueberries near the summit. It is a time of year when there is heavy foot traffic.
