About This Trail

Imported description
There is a path between the wetlands and the bay. Just a few steps away from your car, you can find the middle of nowhere. The trailhead has enough parking space for over a dozen vehicles and a small beach to hang out on. This is a fragile place that is very private. You cannot deviate far from the path at high tide, even if you don't mind the wet feet. Maybe that illustrates the main issue - salt water intrusion from rising sea levels. There is only the interplay of water, sand, grass, light, and a big sky here. You can take a ride down the road to the south west to see the slaves burial ground. It's a good idea to check out Orient Village.
