The Box Turtle Trail loop goes from the trail head to a bridge and back. The trail is marked but a map or phone is advised. The trail is well maintained. There is a parking area at the trail head. It is used by mountain bikers a lot. This is a relatively easy trail, but some may find it harder. It is a good trail to start hiking on. There is a tree with exposed roots. There are several views of streams and meadow. The mosquitoes can be very dense. Bug spray is recommended.
